A lost mhun child

A mhun woman's frantic cries rang through the air on a recent hot
mid-Lupar day. The druid Delphinus Windancer found her just outside the
great rock gate of Moghedu, her face streaked with tears as she called
the name of her missing daughter, Inaen. Jester guildmaster Calithandir
and Ladydeath Aristata, an Apostate, arrived as well. The mhun woman
frantically related that her child had wandered off into the desert and
could not be found.

As adventurers went off to search for the child, Ladydeath took the
chance to taunt the mhun mother and threatened to find the child herself
and kill it. Calithandir stayed with the woman to comfort her, taking
her within the relative safety of Moghedu.

After a great deal of searching, Sir Shiro Gothfraidh of Cyrene found
the lost child's doll abandoned outside the dangerous scorpion caves in
the Mhojave desert. He rushed through the scorpions' lair, heedless of
its perils in his concern for the missing child, and quickly found the
girl cowering in a hidden niche.

Shiro led the child back to her mother for what could have been a happy
reunion that was, alas, tainted by the presence of Ladydeath who taunted
and attacked the mhuns. Shiro, Carmell, Makone, Leolas, and Aztecia led
the mhuns away, further into Moghedu.

Finally safe with her child in her arms, the thankful mhun woman
presented Shiro with a brooch made by a master Moghedu crafter, a family
heirloom and her most valued possession.

Penned by my hand on the 21st of Phaestian, in the year 390 AF.
