Achaean News
It's not creative assistance - it's slop.

Hi folks,
If you'll excuse the somewhat tongue in cheek title, I'm writing to talk a bit about AI.
We in the Garden have collectively noticed a bit of an uptick recently in obviously AI generated designs, news posts, emotes, and other content across the game.
I want to make clear that our stance here is a simple one: the magic of Achaea is that the world is hand written and lovingly crafted, and we would like it to remain that way.
As such, we will be taking a much more critical eye towards this type of content in cases where it is blatantly obvious.
Whilst I appreciate that this is largely unenforceable, players (really the world at large) are becoming very attuned to "AI speak" and "AI tone" and even if we or they cannot prove it, the low or sterile quality of your writing is likely to result in people simply not wanting to interact with you.
This is especially relevant if you are in a prominent role or enjoy participating in things like crafting, news, or other systems that directly result in other players and Gods having to read your writing. We can and will take what steps are available to redress this in prolific or extreme cases.
Take note.
