11.7.19 Vastar, the Skylord

Born of Ayar at the dawn of Creation, Vastar stands as one of the last remaining Elder Gods, a dwinding assembly Who existed at the Genesis of All That Is. Unwilling to countenance the lesser claims of His Divine Siblings, it was from Ayar that Vastar claimed dominion of all the Skies of Creation, anointed sovereign over infinite heavens teeming with boundless potential. His authority over this domain is limitless and absolute, and all that moves beneath the Sky is subject to His scrutiny.

In the tumultousness of the Chaos Wars, the Skylord saw providence in the myriad of mortal races revealed to Him. And yet, revelations most bitter soon became manifest as He realized that humanity, when offered the breath of life, the flame of choice, and set loose beneath His firmament, would choose to squander their divine bounty, clinging instead to comfort and wallowing in mediocrity. With each passing epoch, the limits of the Skylord's forebearance were tested, countless realms and worlds devoid of greatness and scarce punctuated by sparks of potential. 

Though His Neccessity is never complete, Vastar has turned His transcendent and unbridled attentions back towards Achaea, manifesting as the absolute amalgam of the Storm to command calamity as both judge and crucible. No longer willing to stand idly by while mortals falter beneath the weight of their squandered promise, Vastar wields His power as Divine ultimatum.

Ambition is His demand, stagnation a sin that demands immediate rebuke. To worship the Skylord as one of His Farethi is not mere devotion but a sacred obligation. His faithful prepare to unleash His Reckoning upon the complacent masses with relentless Fury and unyielding Conviction, to summon forth His Storm that Achaea might one day rise, tempered and worthy, beneath the majesty of His Sky.
