12.9.4 The Dun Valley Swamp

Filled with twisted creatures and malevolent spirits, the southern swamps of
Dun Valley are a cesspool filled with dark magic. To enter these swamps, one
must find their way through the thick vines in the northern swamps.

Kloreme, twin sister to Haag the Swamp Witch in the bog near Ashtan, lives 
within the swamps and is the reason for the perverse, warped animals that 
wander her domain. Unable to keep herself alive through her own magic, she 
uses the lost souls that wander near her hut to feed her own life force.

It is also rumoured that she keeps quite a dangerous pet that at times breaks
free of her control.
