11.1.2 Communicating with Gods

Approaching a God of Achaea may be a simple task, or it may not. Much depends
on who you are, which God you are approaching, and how you approach. Consider
this carefully, as the stakes are high! Gods hold your health and even life in
their hands. They may take it away from you, or greatly improve it, in a
single stroke.

In attempting to communicate with a God, you may attempt any of the usual
methods used for approaching a mortal - tells, messages, letters, says, etc.

Immortals are often present but not visible to you. If an Immortal wishes to be
seen, then this will be the case.


What not to do
--------------
Don't ask to talk to a God on Market channel. That's a sure way to experience
new and unpleasant things in Achaea (see HELP DIVINE PUNISHMENTS).

Don't assume that the God in question has absolutely nothing else at all to do,
and that you alone are the only thing that matters in the universe.

Don't be abusive, disrespectful, or inconsiderate. True, it's your choice, and
if you want to do any of these things, this writer certainly won't stop you. If
you give a bit of warning to other mortals first, that would be nice: it'd
allow time for setting up with a good vantage point from which to watch the
fireworks. Whee! Crispy crunchy fun.
