Another fragment of history, tampered with

First off, I shall offer congratulations for desecrating the centuries old taboo of attacking a council that truly needed to be. I applaud you for this. While I appreciate your demonstration that Phoenix Crest is naught but a warren of fat, juicy rabbits, I don't think they understood the lesson you sought to impart. For a council dedicated to Nature, they are remarkably unaware of the concept of 'the food chain' or the predator-prey relationship. They are woefully ignorant of the concept of survival of the fittest, or why a wolf has teeth or a tiger has claws. I whole-heartedly approve of any desolation you visit on that hidey hole of hares. Perhaps they will learn once their lands turn to ash?

Be that as it may, I direct you to my post on 7th of Ferinus, 145 AM.. I believe archivists would refer to it by label '3561'. I explicitly stated to the world that any action I take is one that represents only my purposes, not Celidon's. Kinsarmar, knowing this, took the opportunity to ignore it and get aggressive with their erstwhile sister-organization. I use the word 'ignore', because your city had previously set the precedent of respecting this statement very well. After all.. you had not taken offense to my hunting of your champions for a year or more, nor had any of you raised concerns to Celidon's Advisors about my participation in shardfall efforts against you regularly. Hell, I even supported the treaty by defending your city while Antioch sieged your city in the wee hours of a night a year or so past.

On a more serious note, though - I just wanted to ensure that I set the archivist's retelling of this section of history correct: I told Ithaqua what I was capable of and offered to assist them, since Kinsarmar's typical approach these days is to attack only those that can't fight back properly. I merely let your raiding party know as well, by shouting at the top of my lungs. I'd actually define that as a respectful nod to the treaty held between your city and Celidon.. not that said treaty is useful for anything aside from sitting beneath my mug of ahwhe as a coaster, though.

Ah, and to Celidon at large: you have cost yourself an ally by buying in to the prejudices of a city that has no respect for the values you pay mere lip service to. I left your embrace, but I made no attempt to bring harm upon you afterwards. Let it be known that you chose to burn that bridge and I merely watched as you fumbled with the tinderbox.
