The current situation

Greetings, everybody.

I do rarely post here, and see it often as a misuse of the good gold
that most of us have to work hard for. But I believe that these
sovereigns will be well spent, be it to "get things off my chest" or
just to clarify a few things.

Firstly, I would like to adress Dracnor and his post.
Dracnor, you have describe the situation where Serthest attacked Calhoun
as Serthest's sheer right, since Calhoun is a member of the Mark. Does
it not look surprising to you that Serthest attacked Calhoun JUST as he
was disabling an illegal wormhole? Maybe that was something you
overlooked? You can also be quoted with the sentence that reads
"Wormholes have never wounded the forests." This is true. The wormholes
cannot harm Nature. Those who can use wormholes can, though. And so, it
was long ago decided that wormholes should not be opened within a
forestal location. The sudden appearance of tons of wormholes goes to
prove that activity in this field has suddenly exploded. Could you
please answer me why that is the case?
Regarding Oakstone - from your words I take it that you have been a
member of Oakstone at one time. You then display that you have never
known Oakstone to work towards the best interest of the forests. Well, I
do not know you too well (or let us say not at all), but if you are not
a member of Oakstone, I doubt that it is up to you to judge whether
Oakstone is fulfilling its duties or not. The Council of Oakstone was
put into place as the ONLY authority to administer, nurture and care for
the forests of Achaea. It is its natural role to take care of the proper
steps to ensure that the plant life and the forests themselves are not
to be harmed.

Timothy,
I see the problem that you adress, that the organization seems to have
moved from the protection of the forests to a certain kind of
self-preservation. Yet, as I already pointed out above, the Divine have
decided that Oakstone should be the organization to be in charge of the
Achaean forests. Like most Achaean organizations, Oakstone is a
political group, a political entity of its own. As such, it stands not
only for a certain kind of policy regarding the forests, but also to
tough out that policy against those who intend to harm the forests. I,
too, am a member of Oakstone. I am not a Hierophant, and I do not take
it upon me to speak for the Council, but I have my opinions and do not
have any problem with voicing them.
