something the Lady Gaia told those of Oakstone.

shrines and a bank account. The forest are my children and the animals
that reside within them are my dearest friends. Every herb, tree, shrub,
fungus, cactus, moss and bit of lichen is an extension of my own being.
As I said before, Twilight's claim to ownership is silly at best. You
can't own a forest. Even I can't own a forest! His claim that his
essence resides in Darkenwood is as valid as mine, but that is all it
is. His essence is in it. If you pee in a river, does that make it your
river?"
