You err, mortal. The Darkenwood was not created by Gaia alone, it was
created only by Me. The Darkenwood was created as a home for the
Arachnoi - it is THEY who were created by both Gaia and I, together. It
is the Arachnoi who are the children of Darkness and Nature. You mortals
frequently amuse Me as you attempt to speak of things which most of you
have no first hand knowledge. Orina, Xandor and Shade are the only three
mortals who I would even credit with having even a small understanding
of what truly transpired so long ago. Orina and Xandor because they were
the ones who precipitated this event, and Shade because I sat down with
My child and explained things to him, as it is to Shade, the Arch Druid
of Darkness that I have entrusted the care of the Darkenwood and the
forested areas of the Shadow Realm. Now then, cease this prattle about
who owns the Darkenwood. All Gods are involved in some way or another
with creation. By mortal logic, everything belongs to the Gods. However,
mortal logic is flawed. "Everything belongs to the Gods" does not begin
to broach the true relationship the Creators have with the Created.
