By what law do you set your fines? What organization gives you the power
to make the decisions to fine an Order? What claim, if any, have you to
set? I have yet to see a single shard of evidence to support your
actions.

If the Dark Order has no authority in the Wood, then neither does
Oakstone. Understand, for once, that there is a joint presence there.
The Dark Order does not need Oakstone's sanction anymore than Oakstone
needs the Dark Order's. And sanction from any other source would be
utterly irrelevant.


I have to ask, Covenant, in whose name are you acting? Oakstone? Or the
Sentinels? If the Sentinels, then does the guild choose to disregard the
Druids?

The rest of this post is directed to all forest dwellers, whatever your
association.

From the start, I have been clear and open with all of you. I have
posted facts, I have attempted to refrain from flinging around useless
insults as much as is mortally possible. I have not had a single solid
statement in reply.
What I have gotten is more threats, vague hints, accusations that never
quite manage to finish a thought - merely point in a direction instead
of naming. There has been much dancing around the subject.

My Father's shrines are being destroyed. And what has the Dark Order
been doing?
We have been attempting to make sure this is done right. Even now, I
await the word from the hierophants, in hopes of speaking civilly of
compromise and agreement. We have not attacked beyond defending our
shrines, and of late, even that has ceased at my orders for the purpose
of maintaining peace as a gesture of good will towards negotiations.

We will not be baited into useless aggression by the acts of Covenant.
In my opinion as a long time student of the arts of intrigue, the
purpose of his insulting posts and his derogatory actions is merely to
portray Darkness as the ultimate aggressor, the forestal villain. But we
will not take his bait.

The forests are not our enemy. The Sentinels and the Druids are not our
enemy. We want what you want. Protection for the Wood. If you wish to
protect it, we will not object, nor raise any claims to counter your
presence there. We recognize the validity of Oakstone's claim in the
Wood. We also recognize the validity of Our claim there.

If it is an all-or-nothing approach that you will take, if you seek to
take all rights to our souls' forest away from us, then be prepared to
fight a war of despearation against people who cannot afford to lose.

If you believe that Oakstone and Darkness can work out a mutually
beneficient agreement, then know that neither I nor my brethen will do
anything to harm you or the forests, and, on the contrary, will put our
best efforts into meeting you halfway.

Many of you will say, "She's a darkling, every word she says must be a
lie." I was a politician for a long time. In all that time, I did not
lead by lies. Twilight is not the master of deception because He
performs it. He is the master of deception because He sees past it,
having transcended it. It is this vision that He gives His chosen. This
is why I ask you to see past the webs of personal agendas and deception,
manipulation and twisting of words that plague these debates, and see to
the core of the issue.

If it is the welfare of the Darkenwood you seek, then in the Dark Order
you will find only allies.
If it is personal power, a scape goat, a conflict, or the demonstration
of a point/Oakstone's authority that you seek, be prepared to fight to
the last drop of blood.

I await the decision of the Forests. This has been dragged out far too
long. And by the forests I do not mean a single GM acting on whatever
impulse may propel him. This concerns every one of you, druids and
sentinels. It is you who must decide. Peace and comprimise, or pride and
war.
