My Dear people,
I am glad to see that you are not particularly concerned with harvesting
rights in the Darkenwood. Like a true guardian you are concerned with
the health of the forest. So, do you believe that the Twilighters are
doing anything to damage a forest by harvesting within the laws set by
Oakstone? I would venture to say the answer to this is no as you harvest
in this very manner yourself. Now, you are not primarily concerned with
having the harvesting rights to the Darkenwood for yourself or your
guild (Covenant, public 9931, par 1) and you do not believe that the
Twilighters would be hurting the forest by harvesting within the laws
set by Oakstone. Silverstorm stated in her post that the followers of
Twilight would harvest within the limits set by Oakstone (Silverstorm,
public 9923, par. 5). Therefore it stands to reason that you personally
as well as in you capacity as Guildmaster of the Sentinels would be
willing to allow the Twilighters to have sole harvesting rights in the
Darkenwood. As you are as fond of going on record as I am, please feel
free to post in either as guildmaster of the sentinels or as a private
citizen whether you would be willing to give sole Harvesting rights in
the Darkenwood to the order of darkness. If you think that there is an
error in my logic, also feel free to post a rebuttal of my argument.
As for Caled's post. I am not at this time prepared to reply to your
charge that Twilight's followers would in some way be sulling their
sacred ground by harvesting in the Darkenwood. I will however say this:
Silverstorm's post never stated that Twilight's order members would be
harvesting in the Darkenwood. Her post stated that they reserved the
right for Twilight to personally make the decision on whether a given
individual would be allowed to Harvest (Silverstorm, public 9923, par.
5). I welcome Silverstorm or another representative of Twilight to
respond to the question of sacred ground. They are the experts on the
religion of Twilight. I put forth one possiblity for why it might be ok
for Twilights followers to harvest, but know one else. If you look at
the Darkenwood as a shrine then there is precedent for the exclusion,
After all a member of Sartan's order cannot worldburn with an Ageis
shrine. That is all I have at this point. Thank you.
