First, just a clarification. I do presume the offer
made to Ciries was different from the one made by Oakstone.
That offer was made from my guild to your Order, and had
nothing in it of imprinting groves. (Your point 1).
I will continue this on the assumption that you are
rejecting the Guild's offer in total also, as you brought
up my name in your post, and I don't claim to speak for
Oakstone.
Your point 2..I am not trying to be subtle, nor am I
known for subtlety. I have stated out front from
the beginning our goals, and what we will do. I was asked
what we wanted, I spoke it, it was rejected..no manipulation
involved.
Your point 3..ah, a good one. Oakstone has had a totem policy
for some time, it had not however been added to the charter
until recently. I could now shilly shally around that point,
along with the fact that you doubtless don't know exactly
when that amendment passed versus when the totems were
removed..but I won't bother. Its very simple. Shade is using
those totems to attack Sentinels. They were removed. Any
other totems used to attack Sentinels in the forest will
also be removed. Any shrines used to attack Sentinels
in the forest will likewise be removed. While we may
be jumping the gun not asking for Oakstone to deal with it,
we would rather deal with the problem quickly.
So far as your "bill"..firstly, I only ordered 8 totems
removed. If you had 10 removed, you had best find out
who else doesn't like your totems. Secondly, I am
presenting you with a bill of your own. For every Sentinel killed
for the crime of harvesting in compliance with Oakstone Law,
we will destroy 5 of your shrines. For every Sentinel summoned
to the Shadow Realm to be killed, we will destroy 10 of your shrines.
Really, you shuold consider yourself lucky, as the market
value of Sentinel lives is in my opinion quite higher.
Your point 4...Your assurances aren't exactly worth much,
regarding the health of any forest. Your sense of aesthetics
may indeed be different. The question was raised as to the
health of the Darkenwood, the issue will be investigated by
those who care, and not ignored on your sayso.
