Once upon a time there was a man called Darknight who abused his
authority and caused a situation that he had no business poking his
finger into to spiral out of control. His actions caused many who had no
business suffering to suffer. When he was re-citizened to Shallam,
Covenant left in disgust.
Now we fast forward, what a year? And here we have the GM of a guild who
has decided upon his own that Darkenwood is dying. And because of this
has started his own personal crusade to free Darkenwood from the grips
of evil. Even if this means dragging Oakstone and Hashan into this
conflict and making countless souls suffer. Covenant, do Sapience a
favor, sit down and shut up. "IF" Darkenwood is being harmed then "YOU"
need to go to Oakstone with your findings and have them investigate it.
You remember Oakstone right? The organization that is there to protect
the forests? Yeah them. The ones you've whipped up into a fury over
Twilight's Orders actions against Sentinels when it now appears that you
are provoking actions by them to paint them in the role of the bad guy
(Granted, a role easily believed for them) so that you can be the savior
of Darkenwood.
Hashan has been trying to mediate the problem ever since Elsp canceled
that wormhole and shrines in Hashan have been hit. And while there are
those in Oakstone who are listening and trying to work with us to find
some sort of common ground over this situation, there are many there who
are convinced that there is something going on and are standing their
ground. Now we understand why.
If you want to slaughter countless souls over who has the right to
harvest in Darkenwood, go for it. That doesn't fall under Oakstone law
ironically enough. Though I would implore Oakstone to look at that
matter. Regardless of the propoganda you've been spreading, my research
indicates that Oakstone still holds sway in Darkenwood over all the
important issues. Overharvesting, exterminations, and forest fires. The
wormhole treaty has questions but of course we really haven't been able
to make any progress there because you've gotten everyone in such an
uproar.
Now please, before you go dragging two city-entities into a conflict
that neither of them really want, let those who actually have authority
over the matter do their job.
