A proposed amended post

In your post, you missed a few details. I am certain that it was
purely accidental, as a scholar such as yourself would not
intentionally misrepresent facts. In a personal gesture of goodwill,
I propose this corrected version of your post in order to spare you
the embarrassment of having errors pointed out.

Fact. The Darkenwood is barely 10 locations in size. This is comparable
to forest areas within cities.

Correction one. It is closer to twenty-eight forest rooms, and some
caves. This is comparable to the forest areas within Ulangi.

Fact. The Order of Twilight has no issues with Oakstone enforcing its
own laws on the territory -- but NOT against Order members.

Correction two. This is not entirely true, several people have been
hassled while peacefully examining for violations. Even if it were
true, nowhere in the Oakstone charter does it say that members of any
Order are exempt from any rules in any location.

Fact. The Darkenwood was created by the power of Twilight with some aid
from Gaia.

Correction three. It was created by the actions of two mortals,
neither Twilight nor Gaia knew about it until late in the creation of
it.

Fact. Gaia isn't here anymore, leaving Twilight as the single Divine
influence over the Wood.

Correction four. There is a mix of many influences within the Wood,
just as there is anywhere. Creation, Chaos, Righteousness, Evil,
Compassion, War, Knowledge, Darkness, Dreams, these and many other
influences can be found without difficulty. Twilight is a Divine
influence over the Wood, and a strong one, but is by far not the
single one.

Fact. The Darkenwood was created by Lord Twilight for His children.

Correction five. See correction three.

Fact. It can be destroyed, blocked off from your access, or even taken
to another plane at His whim.

Correction six. I do not doubt in His power, but if He truly does
have sole dominion over the Wood, why is it that this has not already
happened? Such thinly veiled threats do not become you.

Fact. None of my Family, to my knowledge, have broken any law against
Oakstone, nor do we disrespect your laws.

Correction seven. You personally have exterminated at least one time,
and according to the charter this is clearly breaking a law.

Fact. The last few posts were aimed to portray Darkness as the
aggressor.

Correction eight. Although I cannot claim to know the intentions of
others, I see the last few posts as aimed to correct a
misunderstanding that had been brought up on the public board.

Hypothesis. You must be really, really bored to be playing with this
issue again.

Correction nine. The first "playing with this issue again" was in
public post 9820. Unless by "you" you are referring to your Obsidian
Council, I do not understand how you can bring up an issue and then
claim someone else to have brought it up.

Fact. Covenant, last I checked you were not on the Oakstone council.
Thank Gods.

This is actually true (!)

Fact. The Obsidian Council has previously consulted with Oakstone and to
my memory agreed on a policy where the Order claim on the Wood was
clearly recognized and validated, but cooperation in the Wood's
maintenance was agreed upon.

Correction ten. The Obsidian Council did consult with Oakstone, but
to my memory the policy was that although the Wood is recognized as
special to the followers of Darkness all Oakstone laws continue to
apply.

Fact. The Darkenwood is not a NATURAL forest. It does not take its power
from the sun, it is not effected by weather or the changing of time. It
draws its power from a Dark Plinth, i.e. from Lord Twilight's power. You
can view this Plinth at the heart of the forest, it's quite lovely.

Correction eleven. It is an odd claim to say that a forest is not
natural. Plants grow within it, groves can be imprinted within it, if
a forest enemy enters it they are attacked by the defences exactly as
much as in any other forest. It is indeed unique, but it is in no way
unnatural.

Fact. The Darkenwood is located on our temple grounds. Like every other
holy area, we have the undeniable right to claim the grounds of our own
temple. Saying otherwise is like claiming the Erisian Pyramid isn't
.*really* Eris's

Correction twelve. The Darkenwood is located adjacent to your temple
grounds. Saying that you do not have the right to claim it is like
saying that the desert isn't *really* Eris's.

Fact. The Order of Twilight has been more than considerate of the wishes
of the Forest folk throughout every Darkenwood conflict. This has not
always (but sometimes) been reciprocated.

Correction thirteen. I don't know if I should bother to spell this
one out, but I find the irony in that statement very interesting.

Penned by my hand on the 18th of Scarlatan, in the year 308 AF.
