And now, for something completely different.

Those of you involved in any levels of the forging market trade have
noticed that steel prices are absurdly high right now in Thera, Moghedu,
and Dun alike.

I'm coming before the whole of Sapience today as the Craftsmaster of the
Patron of the Forge, Lord Phaestus.

I don't know who's buying steel at exorbitant prices, and I don't know
why. I'll try and ascertain that. But if it's people who weren't around
before the commshops went in (HELP COMMSHOPS), they might not remember
that steel was originally set at 250 gold per bar. Now, hopefully, in a
market that responds to supply and demand, we can get prices lower than
they were. So, guild and city leaders, I ask you, humbly, to create help
files for your novices (and members at large) with the following rules:

1) Don't buy steel for more than 250 a bar.
2) Don't buy out the stock of any commodity, period. Leave five or six
of whatever it is.

Same goes for everyone. Abide by these rules, and keep the cost of your
armour and weapons lower. The plan makes sound economic sense. I just
need your help to enforce it.
