Dear Iliana,

The general idea of your post seems to be that the Church has no
right to speak out against the lies that others post about us here,
because as you see it, the Church itself is lying. Or deceitful. Or
hypocritical. Or perhaps all three.

First, I am gratified to see you freely admit that your compatriots
are lying through their teeth and generally just making things up as
they go along. However, as you stated yourself, the Church has
never claimed to embrace all peoples. Certainly not those whose
beliefs stand in direct opposition to everything the Church believes.
Would not the true hypocrisy lie in the Church embracing these
peoples and their beliefs? Regardless, since we do not claim to
embrace those who have ideals that we find rather horrifying, nor do
any of our beliefs, ideals or teachings suggest we should do so, it
would seem we are in fact neither deceitful, nor hypocritical, nor
are we lying about anything. Unless we are operating under the
belief that the Church should be what you think it should be. Which
we are not.

Truly I am unsure where you are getting this version of what the
Church "should" be. Why exactly should we be that? Because
people do not like the fact that we point out that it is rather poor
form to go about slaughtering innocents, and for some reason we
should strive to not hurt their feelings? That we feel attempts to
destroy the world are something to take seriously, and people would
really prefer if we just forgot about it? Regardless of whether you
agree with it or not, the Church is not in the business of making
everyone feel happy and good about themselves. Not when they are
going about making others quite miserable.

As has been said before, while it is interesting to see this absolute
fascination with what the Church is or is not doing this year, surely
you can find some better way to occupy your time? Perhaps you
should spend your time and gold building this organization that
embraces all people's that you seem so fond of.

And finally, what pray tell is the Church hiding? We have nothing to
hide. Feel free to ask any questions, though if you ask them on the
public board, chances are you're not going to get an answer.
