Lies

More than one Achaean month ago, I found to my surprise that I had been
enemied to the Order of War, so I sought an answer from you. To that,
you informed me I had been enemied for defiling. How that had happened
at all was totally beyond me. I have never laid a finger on an Aegian
shrine at all, not even during the Shrine Wars. Only paranoia or
injustice will suffice to explain your motive in enemying me to your
Order.

As my Guildmaster has enlightened me, it is just so I can be hunted or
get fined. If I were a typical Shallamese, I might have resorted to
Issues for justice, since I know very well what I have done, what I have
not.

Alas, justice through Issues is not my way. My Guildmaster has very
recently demonstrated to me what the best way is when one is wronged.

Drizzit, it is your Guildmaster who is either lying or terribly
mistaken.

Ciaran

Penned by my hand on the 20th of Chronos, in the year 306 AF.
