A Celebration of Gaia

First, as a Hierophant of Oakstone, I would like to point out to you
that in spite of Mother Gaia's post where she felt that she had
alienated the druids, the sentinels and Oakstone, she was wrong.
Granted, there are several mortals who did not agree with her and some
of those folks actively tried to undermine her. But the rest of us love
her and miss her and need her presence. Gaia is loved by Oakstone and
her guidance is sorely missed by all. We would not have survived the
terrible trials that the forests have faced all these years without her
strength and her guidance. Mother's illness led her to doubt her impact
when she posted those words.

Second, we, of her her order, as well as Oakstone, are holding a
Celebration of Gaia tomorrow evening in honour of the Goddess of Nature,
our beloved Lady Gaia. It will be held in Gaia's Temple in the Great
Grove. We plan on a short ritual, some words of respect by all who wish
to show their respect and love for Mother Gaia, and perhaps a song or
so. It is not really a eulogy as we expect that Mother will return when
she is well, but more of an expression of our love and respect, and
prayers that we hope will reach her and speed her recovery and eventual
return to us.

The Celebration will be (pardon the OOC) Saturday, May 11, at 8 PM EST,
5 PM PST, and midnight GMT (I hope I did the time conversion correctly,
but the other times are accurate). Please attend and bring your friends
and celebrate with us!

May Gaia bless us all and return to us soon!
Conor, of the Order of Nature and the Council of Oakstone

Penned by my hand on the 10th of Phaestian, in the year 305 AF.
