My theory on Evil, Chaos, the Meme and how it affects our current situation.

Ever since the Eschaton (or is it Estachion? That's almost as bad as
when Cyre claimed the new city was named after him) ritual was completed
shortly following the Lord's attack on the Occultists and my own falling
out I had with them, I've ended up in an interesting middle ground.
While the Occultists furthered their ties to chaos and the powers it
gives I remained behind a comparative dabbler, yet by not having my
control over mortal life essence being severed via divine force like
they did I have not really been weakened by this. Rather we're all still
about even, or at least we will be once the Eschaton is more fully
charged. On the plus side I'm very popular with the chaos entities now
that I've become practically their only supplier of mortal life essence
but I'm not really here to write about that.
I'm writing now to I hope make a unique point for once on the same thing
we're all always arguing about, good and evil. Our world is one of
order, a plane of order rather while what Occultists specialize in is
drawing strength from this world's antithesis, the plane of chaos. As
every educated person knows, when the two realms were first bridged it
resulted in the chaos war which nearly destroyed one if not both of
them. However despite all of the horrible things which have flowed from
that event entities of Order still communicate and make pacts with
entities of Chaos. We draw upon all sorts of what we view as material
services from them as well as the occasional insane experience while
they take the life essence we've stolen from each other and now our
"karma" and do Logos knows what with it. I've often suspected that the
"wheel" of chaos isn't even really there but rather is just a projection
created by some occultists which allow us to navigate it more easily
without risking insanity on every trip. But there I go sidetracking
again, bit too much chaos in the brain maybe.

What really interests me as of late though is this concept of the "Meme"
and how mortal life essence has changed over time. If one looks, the two
planes, often viewed as opposites have begun to merge in all sorts of
ways. Three good examples are the spawns of the unnameable horror (the
"spawn" that gets let out to terrorize people every now and then and the
human race) and Eris herself. Another interesting change is how life
essence works. It used to be, we necromancers killed someone and ate
their heart. We still do that, more symbolic then literal I think and it
gives us essence. It used to be, that this was the only way we could get
essence at all. However the landmarks were forged and essence began a
free flow which was then directed towards the Lord's control.

Now, Sartan and Eris are both young divine really, so young that mortals
living now can claim to have witnessed their ascension or even that
they've known the mortals whose souls lie at their foundation. Eris came
first, another merging of an entity of Order and an entity of Chaos.
Then came Lord Sartan and then came the landmarks, a constant flow of
the life essence that was once confined. Not long after that came the
life essence flow's domination by the Malevolent One.

Finally to get to my points. Chaos and Order cannot co-exist without
both being poluted beyond recognition, I know enough to know that what
we see as chaos entities is just their conforming to their great
discomfort to our reality. Though there is a rare success, the
overwhelming majority of entities of Order who attempt to merge with
chaos or spend too long on the chaos plane end up dead, insane or worse.
With this in mind, though many of them are beginning to forget their own
dogma it seems I can understand why the Church opposes chaos so and I
really can't speak ill of how they handled the situation with Verlaine.
By the way, Verlaine, your new fiancee has the most sexy glowing purple
tentacles I have ever seen. And that fur on a tsol'aa... rar. Too bad
it's on the chest. To court chaos so is selfish, for the only real
outcome is either another chaos war or the slow destruction of
everything that both planes hold dear. Which brings me to my second
point.
You see, I like this. Morality is a fallacy and I want the destruction
of everything this plane of Order holds dear. Really though I'm sure the
plane of chaos is just as bad and there is probably a chaos entity named
One or something running around trying to destroy his world just as I
try to destroy mine. The destruction of everything, absolutely
everything so that something better can rise from the ashes is the true
goal of evil. Which brings me to my final point.
How different then are the concepts we hold of Sartanic evil and Erisian
chaos? Both will rend this plane of Order limb from limb if they get the
chance. I suspect that the collision of these two realities is bigger in
fact than either Sartan or Eris. I'll add a sentence here for you to get
over the blasphemy of that last statement so that you can fully absorb
the next sentence. And that the Malevolent One is perhaps a
manifestation, messenger or messiah of The Destruction That Is to Come.
My fellow mortals, your life essence that pours forth with every wound
you receive is now the property of the Malevolent One. He and His alone
feed upon it. To a lesser degree then, it is also the property of me and
obviously I have a very big mouth.

I'm sure that there are some of you who actually like this world and
thus I ask this forum to (operating under the subtext that my theory is
correct) see if they can figure out any way to stop this process since
obviously ganging up on the evil people hasn't worked.
