Sartan and Landmarks

You raise some very good points and I'll always look forward to your
articles, albeit granted formatting is not your forte. Though I won't go
into the recent debates regarding changing city laws (as that's within
the purview of the Council), I will address Sartan's relationship with
landmarks. Mount Mhaldor is a magnet that draws Evil influences to
itself. Sartan is the lord over Mount Mhaldor. When a landmark turns to
its dark aspect, it radiates Evil. By "Evil", I am not referring to any
philosophical abstractions but to the negative "force" that is as real
as it is intangible. That is what is drawn to Mount Mhaldor. Although I
know we can discuss whether or not Necromancy is evil per se until
Pentharian actually laughs, Necromancers do use "essence" which is a
manifestation of this negative energy "force". Thus, Sartan controls
Necromancy.
I leave it to the philosophers to debate what this negative energy
actually is, whether it is truly evil or not and whether Mount Mhaldor
is really just some sort of scientific instrument that subverts this
negative energy. However, I will end with a thought: Not all, but the
vast majority of mortals have for centuries believed Necromancy (or
death magic) is evil (in the negative sense of its potential for death
and destruction), and some people believe that a thought form of this
magnitude and span of time (let's call it a "meme") creates a will of
its own. Thus, is it possible that this "meme" (created by you) is what
truly allowed Sartan the creation of Mount Mhaldor? Indeed, do you truly
know what influence your own thoughts and beliefs have in the land?
Consider that the next time you label something good or evil.
