Kaelin,
You think you can win the war of words? Perhaps you are afraid? Perhaps
you realize that the honor of the Infernals, (a rare and vacillating
thing) has sunk to a new low with the Maldaathi? Let me begin here...
I was an Infernal Squire. I hoped for a future with the Infernals. I was
loyal to the Infernals... but not to Sartan.
I saw the lack of honor in that guild, and stayed away from the IB when
Sartan was imprisoned. I have joined Ashtan and she bears my first and
truest loyalty.
Your utter foolishness is evident in that you misquote me, and attempt
to accuse me of things I have never said or done. I have NEVER stated
that I would lead the "Infernals back to glory." I have nothing
whatsoever to do with the Infernals. I find it humorous that you refer
to *my* insults or threats, when you were the first to attack, and that
without any provocation. Your logic is thin, perhaps too many sword
blows have weakened your brain. Let me spell it out for you.
You claimed that this had NOTHING to do with the Maldaathi, yet stated
that my death at your hands "had been ordered." Yet you refused to
explain who ordered it and why. You are a dirty treacherous fool who
wants to slay those who you are sure that can (I am in the Ivory Mark.)
I definitely do speak for the Amittai, who are not yet a guild. I back
up my statements entirely.
I welcome your invitation to slay me, and I return it on my Blade with
these words.
The Amittai are not the Infernals. The Amittai are not the Maldaathi.
The Amittai are not a NEW Infernals guild. The Amittai are New, we are
young, and we are forming. The Blades of the Amittai are on the forge,
being shaped into mighty weapons. Others of the Amittai will back me up
on this. This is no personal war, Kaelin. I once respected you, and
thought that you possessed honor. I have found that to clearly be false.
The Amittai and indeed all of Ashtan will be in enmity to you, and the
enmity will not disappear. It will grow and develop, until my words that
I have spoken already come to pass.
On that day, I will prove you to be the fool, liar, and honorless dog
that many already know you to be.
May the Gods have mercy on you, for this will never end, though I die a
thousand times. The Maldaathi will be *defeated* by the Amittai, for
this is now a question, not for words, but for Blades.
A'si Oneblade! A'si Amittai! A'si Amittai!!!
-High Duke Kandor, the Firstblade of the Amittai-
The Oldblade of Moghedu, my grandfather, spoke this prophecy from his
deathbed:
The Blades will rise in Ashtan, and they will not be silenced... their
cries of War will ring through the land and shake the mountains. Their
Blades will shine brighter than their eyes, for their Honor will burn
within the Blades of the Amittai. Then, the Oneblade will arise, and his
strength will lead them, forever. For the Amittai were, and the Amittai
are, but yet the Amittai are not, for they are yet to come. Fear the
Unity of Blades!
See you on the Field of War!
