Leaving behind so much of what you know rarely comes easy, thus I
applaud the bravery of those who have taken this step. It may seem like
a step off a very high cliff, especially if you do not plan to join
another guild or a city, but take heart for you are not alone.

I have heard the the former Infernals of the Interim Battalion are
enemying and hunting those who have left the Battalion. I personally do
not accept this. I am of the Ivory Mark, and I will take contracts from
any (who are not acting against my guild or city) who leave the
Battalion and are harmed for doing so. I am admittedly not unmatched in
combat, but I pledge what protection I can give towards your freedom to
choose your path in life apart from the guild that is no more. All you
need to do is ask.
