Whew! I don't even know where to start. Well...
Well, first the shrines. After bashing today I went around looking for a
shrine to defile, something I hadn't done in a couple years really.
Since I don't defile Aegis or Eris shrines as I'm an Ashtan citizen, I
to my chagrine couldn't find a shrine to defile. I eventually went to
some Lupus thing a hundred feet underground in the great rock,
appropriately far beneath the feet of the statue of our Great Lord
Sartan atop it. I also remember the Logos increasing the difficulty
level involved in destroying a shrine awhile after our Order began
having fun with them. It's true that for various reasons the Aegean
shrines suffered far less then the shrines of the other Orders, but I'd
also say that the statement that our defiling sprees had no success
isn't very accurate.
Second, the alliance army. I'm afraid I lost count of how many of the
brave alliance warriors I chased down and killed like bog hounds today,
but some like the Phaestean in Jaru who died to my chaos entities,
starbursted and got beheaded a split second later, and Jerle who ran
down the Shallam road safely into all of the totems only to be taken
down by a lofted soulspear a second later... little gems like that just
stay with a guy, you know? And I'm so lucky to have two in one day.
Well, ok, four in one day but I won't bore you all with my stories.
Well, I'm tempted to end this post with everything from a statement that
I'll stop slaughtering those who huddle together thinking this makes
them safer beneath the banner of this nameless alliance for 70k gold
(though that's probably the total value of what I robbed from that
Paladin today, so never mind) to thanking the alliance for finally
declaring war. Because while those of us who lead Sartan's Order, the
warrior class, find the thought of the weak trying to stand up to us
hilarious, it's nowhere near as funny and fun as when they actually try
to do it.
And in my case, I just like making provocative posts. Damn I'm good!
