Recently, as many of you know, I have been asked and accepted patronship
of the Jesters guild. This does not mean there is any association
between Jesters and Ashtan (nor certainly Jesters and Occultists), and I
will adamantly uphold the Jester's neutrality. This is not a guild that
takes sides or becomes involved with petty politics (though of course
individual jesters may do so, the guild itself will not). Thus, I hope
My presence will not discourage anyone, especially from Cyrene or
Shallam, from embracing or joining the Jesters. After all, throughout
history we see every great king or queen having a jester at their side
as an advisor and entertainer.

As I have told the jesters, I will only manifest one of My Aspects as
patron of the Jesters. There will be little link between My teachings to
the Occultists (which is very arcane) nor My advice to Ashtan (which is
largely political). Rather, there is a limited (yet deep) aspect of My
realm that will assist the jesters in their immediate quest for
acceptance and their long-term goal of spreading comedy and joy
throughout the land.

I am Chaos. I am the substance from which your artists and scientists
build rhythms. I am the spirit with which your children and clowns laugh
in happy anarchy. I am chaos. I am alive, and I tell you that you are
free.
