You chastise Tear for his lack of reading ability, and yet, you yourself
miss his usage of the word evil, or at least take it literally,
obviously. I have a feeling, he being an Infernal Knight, were he
speaking of evil in the sense of Sartan's realm, he would've capitalized
it, to be Evil. Instead, I do believe he meant the adjective evil, not
the noun. Evil in the adjective form, is defined as an act or a person
who is malicious. Through your entire, rather pitiful, post, you made
these people look like absolute monsters. Or at least, monsters to those
newbies who still fear their own shadows.
For the rest of us, we know this is life. You piss someone off, they're
not just going to just go running away bawling, "I'm telling my mommy!".
At least the ones with any capacity for self-appeasement won't. Death is
a part of life. And I have a rather strong feeling that you have only
heard one side of the story, and that would be the person whining about
being killed, whilst fluttering their eyelashes and polishing their
halos and exclaiming, "I have no idea why they killed me, honest!"
Standing up for what you believe is great. But what you failed to
remember is that daring to do this will often anger and annoy a lot of
people, and they will come looking for your head. Whining does little,
bitching does even less, and sulking only benefits the wounded pride of
said individual. Remember that nobody is innocent all the time. The only
people who attack you for no reason at all, other than merely standing
there, are the Crypt Beast and the Vampire Lord. There are others I'm
sure, but eh. You get the point. As far as standing up for what you
believe in, there's always plenty more space to nail the next fool
martyr.
