Your post regarding Druids and Oakstone, etc.

I rarely bother to respond to posts. As a child of the Earthmother, a
Druidess, and a member of the Oakstone Community, however, you have made
rash generalizations which seem to spurn from your own bitterness.

I was not present when Violet was discovered at the scene of the
extermination. I do not think that you were either. Where I don't
pretend to speak as though I knew happened, you seem to have taken it
upon yourself to inform the world that you do.

Anyone who is in charge of anything, be it clan, city or guild, knows
exactly how difficult it is to run such an organization. Information is
often difficult to come by, difficult decisions have to be made with
little or no time to think about them, and the persons who are in charge
(after all, they are only mortals) do their best under this sort of
pressure.

I cannot speak for the Druids, nor for Gaia's Order or for Oakstone, as
I am not in a position to do so. But I speak for myself when I say that
Violet is still amoung my dearest friends. You have no right to lump all
the Druids or the Council of Oakstone together into one entity which
drags its "sorry ass around enemying people." Whatever happened between
you and those organizations I cannot speak for, but it seems to me that
you have some outstanding emotional baggage that needs to be let go.

I do hope that someday the animosity between those who love the forest
can be quelled. After all, it is the forest we are protecting - not
reputations, not pride, not feelings. It is certainly better to protect
them together than divided.

Fond regards,
Chirra Winterhart, Baen Drui
