A lot of you will recognize me as the Rogue Druid who sells below
oakstone. A lot of you will not recognize me. Either way it doesn't much
matter. I don't often post here because most of these arguments are
pointless, However, I feel I need to post on this latest argument
between the Sentinels and Ashtan. This post is in hopes that younger
members of this society will see the truth before their minds become
entangled in the lies of their respective guild/city.
Whenever I hear talk of people being killed for their herbs I have to
laugh. As a young Druid I was killed more times than I was able to keep
track of. I was killed for defending the lifestyle I had chosen, I was
killed for looking at someone crooked, you name it I was killed for it.
Now, I used to believe the lies that were told to me by my guild, that
the reasons for my killing were becuase the people doing the killing
were honourless, mindless, bloodthirsty killers who had nothing better
to do than pick on young, defenseless Druids.
LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!
After leaving the Druids guild, and striking out on my own, I have
learned many things. I have spent time in every city in Sapience, I have
gone places that I dared not go as a young Druid. And I have learned one
thing above all else...
Since I left the my former guild, I have never been hunted, killed for
herbs, killed for gold, or killed for any other reason that I didn't
deserve to be killed for. While I may not have been shown respect in all
places, I have never been harmed or feared for my safety, regardless of
where I went.
By now you are probably asking yourselves, What is the point of this
rambling. Here is my point, Most killings have nothing to do with herbs
or gold. As a young Druid I was killed for my actions and the beliefs I
learned from a corrupt guild. Wars, bans, mindless slaughters during
harvesting, these are all the result of power hungry, corrupt people who
somehow manage to make it to power.
If you wish to be truly free, you must follow the one person who can
make you truly free...YOURSELF.
