Surely You Jest?

Hwolf, my dearest brother,

I could take this time to handily pick your post apart from your first
statement to the last little detail, but why bother? Those with an iota
of intelligence are well aware that your post simply _had_ to be an
attempt at humour, and if that is the case, I have bit of advice for
you: Don't make us laugh.

Tis amusing to see the Guild Master of the Infernals post a missive on
the public forum that would insinuate that your guild, one known to
oppress the weak and down trodden are now the ones being oppressed. Does
this mean, dear sir, that your guild is also now viewed as weak? For
surely if you were not weak, you could not be oppressed, and certainly
if you had any ounce of testicular fortitude, you and your guild would
not have thrown a temper tantrum fit for a toddler after your guildhall
was sealed yet again.

Alas, if your post indeed was not an attempt at humour, I must question
not only your intelligence, but also your sanity. You, the Guild Master
of the Infernals, whom have shown time and time again to have conspired
against the Bastion of the North, still feel that it is your place to
attempt negotiations and to make demands? Let me make something
perfectly clear to you, you had your chance to do this years ago, when
the Ruling Council came to you time and time again in attempts to
negotiate. In case your memory is failing you, you refused all attempts
until you found yourself in a position where you were enemied from every
city in the realms

Though I could have taken pity on you in your situation, I foolishly
assumed that you were a strong Infernal, and this enemy status from all
cities you had worked so hard to earn surely had to be nothing more than
just another sign of your strength. Mayhaps I mistook that as well, and
should have seen your running to negotiate with the Ruling Council as
weakness.

I did not then, and in fact, I do not now see it as thus. However, if
you think for one minute that Ashtan will suddenly realize how
'valuable' to the city you are and will change the demands set forth to
you and yours simply in hopes of 'winning you back', you are more of a
fool than even your staunchest opponents take you for.

Oh and on a side note, being that you seem so well versed in the ideas
and theories of Chaos, mayhaps you can enlighten the realms on where
exactly Chaos does not exist? Twas my feeble understanding that even in
death there is Chaos, that wherever change is found, there is also
Chaos. I could be wrong on this, but if that is so, I am certain you
will correct me.

Please, do take your time in responding to this, if you feel that you
must respond at all, brother of mine. I still haven't stopped chuckling
over your last post.
