Greetings Guildmasters and Noviceheads of Sapience,
I address you today as Inquisitor of the Pages for the
Infernals Guild and Dean of the Iron Citadel Academy. The
one place that we unite, Infernals and Paladins, Ashtanite
and Shallamites, followers of Sartan and those misguided
followers of other respected dieties, is in our dealings
with recent arrivals to the realm on the NEWBIE channel. In
this one place those that Landmark for Good and those that
Landmark for Evil put aside their differences and join to
welcome Newbies and ensure that their assimilatin into these
realms goes as smoothly as possible in order that they may
some day contribute to the society of Sapience as productive
guildmates, citizens and forest-enemied assassins.
In order to be able to best serve our duties once these
Newcomers have become Novices within our Guilds I propose
that The Order of the Tyros be formed which will be
comprised of Noviceheads and those responsible for the
initial training post-Novice status. At the pleasure of the
Guild Novicehead others could be included. This Order would
exist as a Clan in order that we may share ideas to improve
our practices of screening and training the Newcomers.
Initially each Guild would present their current practices
and then ideas could be suggested for dealing with the
challenges that arise in this assimilation process. Through
such cooperation we will improve the experience of not only
the Newcomers but all dwellers of Sapience that come into
contact with them as they become fully assimilated.
If all seventeen Guilds of Sapience were to agree to join
this effort it would cost a mere 30,000 Gold from each Guild
to establish this Order. If only ten Guilds see fit to join
this effort this we still require only a small amount of
50,000 Gold from each Guild. Perhaps Romeo and Juliet would
see fit to join and The Creator Himself would be willing to
assist in this effort by way of donating to this effort and
thus making it an even easier decision for the Guilds.
Although I realise we are all busy Landmarking or avoiding
Landmarking and preparing for the glorious Event Sarapis has
planned for early-mid summer of this year this is something
that can be decided upon and donated for now and shall then
be ready to established by Lupar.
May we all find our Guilds within 60% of the winning Guild
this summer,
