Oakstone and Darkenwood... and Ashtan??

Congratulations on Oakstone proclaiming that the Darkenwood does indeed
belong to the realm of darkness. I wonder when they will dedicate a
forest to Chaos?
In any event, as Matron of Ashtan, I have no idea what You are referring
to by Oakstone being "at odds" with Ashtan on some effort "leading . . .
to war". As far as the Infernals go, I am sure You know the rift that
has been steadily widening between Ashtan and the Infernals; thus, they
may or may not have been "at odds" with Oakstone but that has little to
do with Ashtan's policy.
In any event, Ashtan has proclaimed herself to be the City of Freedom
under My Matronship (because of the incontrovertible fact that an aspect
of Chaos is freedom), and I have seen druids, sentinels and other
forest-friends welcomed and embraced within Ashtan's walls. I am quite
sure any so called "odds" in the past were between individuals and not
any organizations (at least as far as Ashtan is concerned).
On a personal note, since the Darkenwood was created by a mating between
You and Gaia, I can't help but wonder what has happened to that intimacy
between darkness and nature that obviously led to such an offspring. Ah,
but custody battles surely hurt the child more than anyone else.
