Clarification on the Sarapin Sacrifices.

Much confusion and debate has arisen lately involving the Lord's Sarapin
rituals and we have begun to fear that we are in danger of losing sight
of their original purpose and goal. Thus, with permission from the
Insidious I am now going to post what the real reason for the sacrifices
is as well as other aspects of the rituals which have been a well-kept
secret up until now. Though it may seem like we randomly maraud about
trying to kill everything that moves this is far from the truth. In
reality, every single one of our targets and every aspect of said ritual
is carefully planned beforehand with the ritualistic seven back-up plans
per year should something go wrong. There has been a reason behind every
sacrifice and every attempted sacrifice, a goal which amid all of the
protestation a few who follow the Lord on some level or another have
begun to lose sight of. That is, the goal of making sapience a better
place by making every single one of you stronger than you were before we
passed through.
By striking out and ritualisticly beating down and causing certain parts
of the whole, the whole being our world, to suffer we make that which
was weak stronger and help to guide them towards the truth. The truth of
course being the truth of evil, that we are all pathetic creatures at
heart and only by embracing and mastering the evil within us can be
become strong enough to stand on our own two feet. This also ties in
with how people say that the Lord Sartan does not care about mortals-
this is also actually a lie, a lie spoken for our own good. In truth, He
claims not to care about us because He wants us to learn how to be
strong on our own, to live without our lives revolving around the divine
who only use us for essence (their food) and entertainment.
So, we attacked Magnangemon, who was speaking ill of us and our great
and noble cause. Last I heard he had gone from a fat, honey sucking
'drood' in a tree speaking gossip behind people's backs to a crusader
against the evil.
We nearly sacrificed Hawk, then pretended to stumble about as if we
didn't know the words to a ritual we've all done a hundred times until
someone swooped in and saved her. Hawk as a person is probably the
embodiment of Druid lazyness and weakness. She can't even talk normaly,
she says 'burbais ^_^' instead of 'bye' and her warcry when we
'attacked' her was 'I have a bellybutton!!!!!'. Shortly after she
escaped from us and told me to go to hell (which I promptly did, the
haemonculi assigned to me tend to slack off without constant
supervision). I kept some small tabs on her and as we suspected she
actually got a real warcry and has since learned how to stand up for
herself better.
We slew Aldair, the leader of the Paladins. Though a few people
sycophant her as a great leader, the truth is that the Paladins are at
the weakest that they have perhaps ever been. They have not a single
strong active warrior, people laugh at the mention of their guild...
they cannot defend the light much less themselves. Only when their
leadership improves will they have a chance to improve as well, and
their leader would still rather light a candle then fight the darkness
which can so easily snuff said candle out.
And so on back it goes, we sometimes sacrifice those in our own ranks,
at other times others but in truth our goal has always been the same, to
liberate the people of sapience from the shackles of their own weakness.
We call ourselves 'evil' because to the rather pathetic evolutionary
mindset of mortals there is no improvement unless such improvement is
absolutely neccessary. What is a crusader with nothing to crusade
against, what is a hero without pure evil to oppose? There is no pure
evil except for the weakness inside of us all... what is life without
the threat of death. The truth is, you need us sapience, whether you
admit to it or not.
Perhaps this all just came out as the ramblings of someone who has
survived too many blows to the head, if so then I apologize. It's just
that the entire 'evil' gig is really starting to bother some of us.
Lurv you all, burbais now! ^_^
Ah, you know what I mean.
