Ignorance is Bliss. Truely it is. And you must be quite blissful this
time of year.
Actually it was you that missed the point as a great many indoctrinated
by Church teachings do. And don't bother pointing out you are not a
member of said church. Its evident from your writings that you still
hold to the misguided principles it hammered into your very thick skull
a long time ago.
The point of the first part of my previous posting was to show that just
because a God or Goddess was not good, it did not make them evil. I know
realize that trying to prove this point was silly of me as the church
teaches anything not good must be evil. So feel free to curse the rain,
those darned butterflies, the darkness at night, that dream of a former
lover, and anything else that does not fall under the "good" category as
it must all be evil and therefore plotting to destroy you. In fact we
all gather late at night, you know because according to church doctrine
we fear the daylight you know...and apparently we don't like garlic, and
all laugh and plot the demise of Good. Please. Grow up. And people
wonder why I say the Church is full of ignorant people. Its narrowminded
views such as yours that keeps the Church where it is today. A
backwatered group of ignorant hillbillies that view anyone who doesn't
prescribe to their odd ramblings as the bad guy.
As to the second point, you again missed it. It wouldn't matter if you
had 20 Gods all active and pushing for Good and Happiness if YOU DON'T
WORK FOR GOOD IT DOES NOT MATTER. Sitting at home dreaming wistfully for
some force of Good to rise up from the ashes to fix all of your problem
is exactly that. A dream. You want a force of good to rise up where
there was none? Try starting at home. And I'm not talking a city. I'm
talking YOUR home. In your post you declare yourself neutral due to
family. How nice. A nice, strong armed, fully trained paladin sitting on
his rump only getting involved when it suits his purposes, ie landmarks,
because it directly affects himself. How giving. Its people with your
mentality that has put good where it is today. Those that rationalize
away why they no longer fight for good. I don't want to harm my family,
I don't want to get involved because I'm too tired of fighting, what
difference does it make we are going to lose anyway. You think some new
God is going to fix that? Hardly. It starts at home. Your home. And with
one person. One person getting up and saying no to the apathy. And then
going out and convincing the others who have given up to hope again.
That is the force of good that you need. Not some divine entity giving
orders and telling you what to do. You want that go join Sartan's Order.
But for Sarapis's sake quit whining to the world about it.
