Restructuring of the Legion and the Ikari family.

This post is meant to serve largely as a help file for those seeking to
join the Ikari family and the Legion of the Damned.
As many of those of you who have been involved with it know, the Ikari
family has had some trouble as we struggle to find a way to both
increase the size of the family and not contaminate its elite name.
Elite in terms of fighting ability we mean. Of course, with such strict
standards the family has never prior to this expanded past six people.
The Legion has also had its problems, as it has never really been the
same ever since our playground (Shallam) improved its city defenses.
Though we had a couple wars, we strove so hard to crush the competition
and I think now that we did it too well. We fought the Church... now we
say, 'what Church?' They admitted defeat in all of the important
arguments long ago, the Paladins for many years now have not had a
single good fighter, the Priests have only Dresden who isn't good so
much as having a lot of brute force and still isn't really dangerous. It
has for a very long time now been a sad life for the Legion, being a
warrior with no one to war against. It's true what they say, that the
strongest warrior doesn't have to fight.
The Legion dominated the old world but things are always changing and if
we are to remain 'on top' so to speak then we must change as well. The
Legion as it used to be is no more and the clan is now the Ikari family.
Those of you wishing to join the Ikari will probably be interested in
the next paragraph.
The Ikari clan consists of people in the Ikari family and the occasional
exceptions we make for friends of ours who are fun to talk to. If you
want to join the clan then it actually consists of three last names
which reflects your status within said clan. There is a requirement for
the first part, a test to obtain the second name and the third name
(that of Ikari) is gained only by the unanimous approval of all other
active Ikari. The system is divided up like this-
Ikari
Tsun
Rien
To become a Rien and initially join the clan you must deposit 2000 gold
into the clan coffers (DEPOSIT 2000 IKARI). From then on point this out
to an Ikari who is online and they will induct you into the clan.
To become a Tsun you must first have been in the Rien. From then on, you
have to kill five (5) assassins or champions and mail their heads to an
Ikari. This is trickier than it sounds, since heads do decay which means
that you are going to have to kill all of these people within a
relatively short time frame. There is also a tad of luck involved, as
the Ikari you mail them to has to read your letter before said heads
decay... it should be noted that Andelas and myself in particular are on
for at least a short time almost every day. If you're really serious
about being a Tsun then figuring out who is and isn't active shouldn't
be at all hard though. The heads you get cannot come from other people
in the clan =)
To be an Ikari you have to already be a Tsun and get the unanimous
approval of all other active Ikari as I stated earlier.
Obviously we're a fighting oriented family and having the Ikari name is
synonymous with skill in said area, being allowed to wear it should be
considered an honor. If you quit or are kicked out of the clan then you
must remove the name from your title as well, otherwise it will be taken
as an insult to every other Ikari, Tsun and Rien there is. And you know
what that means =).
In closing, I'd like to say kudos to Xandor (Xanwhore), Calhoun, Tarlin,
Tylin, Caelan and Darknight (Dorknight) for being good enemies. A really
good enemy is hard to find!
