Thanks for the enlightening post.
I would like to draw out one small argument, however. You wrote -
'Honour is a great characteristic of the Infernal Guild. Many say that
we are not honourable, yet when I look at other guilds my own fills me
with pride.'
Talisman, a guildmate of yours, I believe, wrote thus -
'Come now, you realize that Each guild has its own way, Druids do
Druidly things, Priests do Priestly things, Infernals do Sartanian
things.'
By your own words, although it is dishonourable for a Knight to run from
danger in order to survive, it is not so for Druids. In fact, we don't
even talk about honour. We talk about survival, family, nurturing and
caretaking. These are things that we hold dear in our hearts, they are
as you put it 'Druidly'.
This is why we become so enraged when we are continually asked to 'spar'
and when some of us decline we are then attacked, and if we run, we are
then hunted, ridiculed and otherwise harassed. How can you impose your
system of honour on a group of people that do not deal with such
notions? I suppose our lack of an -honour- system might in your mind let
us fall under the category of 'weak' as layed out in your Father's
'Seven Truths'. Then again, we don't live by that canon either, so it
does not apply to us.
Point being? Fight Knights and talk about honour with them. When you
fight a Druid, you are dealing with creatures of immeasurable fraternity
and survival flowing through their wild veins.
May your chosen path bring you to a place where you are indeed
honourable and not one person can think of a legitimate slander to speak
against your name.
