An observation

The Infernal Guild is exemplary of Lawful Evil. Sure, they will rape
your mother, eat your children's hearts, and slit your throat, but they
will do it all in between the lines their Code has drawn for them.
Vileness Supreme, The Incarnation of Despicableness, Lord Sartan, God of
Evil, is just that -> Evil. He does not pretend to follow any mortal
laws or have any sort of guidelines at all for His actions. He does what
He does for His own reasons and I have no clue what those reasons are,
they are beyond my mind's grasp.
It is widely known that many people put Order before Guild when
decisions are to be made.
Many Infernals are Sartanic.
This is why you see people who you would expect to act in one way, act
in quite the opposite way. They make their God proud (or not), but shame
their guild. If they were Chaotic Evil, we could not complain, for they
in very nature would defy rules that govern other's actions. But they
have defined -themselves - as Lawful Evil and thus we expect a certain
caliber of behavior from them.
Very disappointing, is it not?
