A formal proposal

Written by: Aegis, God of War
Date: Thursday, November 29th, 2001
Addressed to: Eris, Goddess of Chaos

Eris, I am the God of War, but at this time, I think being the God of
Poetry would have been an advantage (if being anything but warlike EVER
has an advantage). But no matter. I will say this and I will be done
with it.
You and I have spent several grand months courting since your return,
and I think it is time I make you and honest Woman. My existance
consists muchly of demanding things, rather than asking, but if you
would do me the honour, I would ask you to stand at my side for the rest
of eternity as my mate. I have a present for you. I left it in the
gardens on the east side of Ashtan. I hope you enjoy it.
I do this publicly, for as I observe the custom, it seems the proper way
to do it. I hope you will respond in kind.
It will be my greatest triumph to date, to walk in the glory of a
conquest on this unfamiliar ground. We will shape our destiny as one.
War and Chaos. Chaos and War.

--Aegis

Penned by my hand on the 12th of Glacian, in the year 292 AF.
