the trial

Kryvar,
The trial has nothing to do with Hashan, or the war. The trial was
instigated by Pentharian, Lord of Righteousness. The reason being that
He (I'm assuming) believes that justice must be served. If He judges
them guilty and punishes them - it is not because of Hashan, it is
because He feels they deserve it.

Think of it this way - if they are judged guilty, then the instigation
of this war by Hashan will be judged as just, in the eyes of the Patron
of Shallam. If he judges them innocent, then He judges Hashan's actions
as wrong.

I'm not suggesting Hashan just drop all charges - I'm saying Hashan
should base her actions on the result of the Judgement - not the
punishment.

Caled

Penned by my hand on the 5th of Lupar, in the year 291 AF.
