Querada,
While there is very little that I could actually write to make you look
any more the fool, I am going to try anyways. What is it about you petty
Shallamites that always makes you think you somehow know what is best
for all of Sapience? Granted, you made your inquiry to Lord Sarapis, but
please, let us take a look at your choices for "unbiased mortals" as you
call them. A council consisting of 5 individuals, the names of which you
have given us. Those names, Tu'eras, Mhunna, Oorangu, the Mayor of
Thera, and the Baron of the Orcs. Now, how you came to the decision that
these were the most unbiased of mortals in this realm, I can only dream.
By the looks of it you might as well have taken a map, pointed to 5
random locations, and chosen a significant individual from that area to
serve on your council. Now, besides the fact that unbiased mortal is
practically an oxymoron, moron, your selections seem to me vastly out of
the range of even neutrality in most cases.
First we have Tu'eras. How can you call Tu'eras unbiased, when only
several years ago, one of the present Archons of Ashtan slew his own
father during a crusade to overtake the Tsol'aa race? Given, this Archon
is neither a member of Hashan nor Shallam, but considering two
things,(One: Hashan is allied with Ashtan in this conflict. Two: Dresden
and Charlotte have both fought against Ashtan forces even before these
incidences occurred.), I am sure that Tu'eras would be far more
sympathetic with Shallam's cause than with that of Ashtan.
Next, we examine Mhunna. You must have one of the shortest memories in
the history of Sapience. Think back, oh, I don't know, a little over a
year or so, to the events that caused this entire crisis in the first
place. See that smoldering pile of ash and charred guild tutors in the
northwest portion of your city? Remember what caused that? That's right,
Shakti opened a chest and boom, Ashtan erupts in laughter that most
still haven't quite recovered from. Ah yes, and where did Shakti get the
key to that chest? From Mhunna! And how, praytell? By killing him! I'm
sure Mhunna will be quite understanding of those people that are now
allied with the person that utterly decimated him and most of his guards
for a little key!
Now, Oorangu, I'll have to say, you struck a mark. We all get lucky
sometimes, but I can't see why Oorangu would so much as bother to show
up for such a lopsided "trial."
Next we have the Mayor of Thera. Tell me Querada, how many times has
Shallam tried to take over Thera, hmm? Because I know Ashtan has! And if
I were a city leader, which, by the way, I am, I'd certainly not care to
judge anything in favour of the people that tried to take over my city.
Maybe I am off the mark on this one, I'm not sure how much you
Shallamites have degenerated since I left, but frankly it wouldn't
surprise me if you did just that.
Finally, the Baron of the Orcs. Splendid. Why not place a caveman on the
council as well, hmm? I'm not particularly sure why you would even
consider the Baron for placement on a world council, considering his
actions during the Dun Valley crisis, along with his continued actions
against the true Prince of Dun Valley. Actually, I shouldn't say that.
You did elect Dresden to Sultan after all!
As if all of this hasn't been enough Querada, I really have to ask you.
Have you simply ignored every single post on the matter of the various
trials made by both sides of this conflict? Because if you hadn't, I'm
sure that after how many times Drakul and others have reiterated the
fact that a trial had been offered, and was met only with hostility,
you'd not have felt the need to bother making such a complete fool of
yourself. Nevertheless, if that is how you like to spend your time, who
am I to judge. Also, you may wish to look up the reasons for this war,
as you obviously missed those completely as well, based on your
accusations that Hashan declared war on Shallam on the grounds of murder
of citizens. Drakul and other members of the Hashanite legislature have
stated repeatedly that such is NOT the case, and citing how well they've
done saying so themselves, I'll let you backtrack and take a look for
yourself.
So in the future, before you attempt to plead to the Divine because your
Holier-Than-Thou asses now have far more holes than you began with, try
researching your facts a little more. It might save you the trouble of
having to hear from people like me about it.
