Sultan,

While I understand your...obvious concern for the well being of your
citizens, I must ask you something that I find rather amusing. How,
praytell, do you as a city find yourself in any position to be on equal
footing in any area, be it on the battlefield or on the political
tables? Frankly, Drakul is being more than generous in offering you such
a simple resolution. Turn over one of Achaea's most renowned dictators,
one who has not only supported the mass murder of tens of known innocent
Hashanite citizens, as well as thousands more we are not directly aware
of, but has also in the past used her own power in an outright abusive
state to alter the leadership of one of your city's own guilds. In
return, the slaughtering of your citizens ceases, these political
mindgames which you are obviously not particularly good at are
discontinued, and you and the rest of Shallam can pick up the pieces of
your bronzed city and prepare for the next time you screw up.

Perhaps this is just my...what is that thing, oh yes, conscience
speaking...but do you really wish to continue leading your citizens down
a path of no hope? This war can be likened to a slaughterhouse! The
foolish Shallamites, wandering aimlessly about, following their leaders
into the waiting fists and blades of the combined might of Hashan and
Ashtan. I have yet to see once a Shallamite attack of any calibur that
has not been delt with swiftly and without cause for alarm. Ryvern, if
what you truly desire is peace, then perhaps you need first put aside
your own bruised ego and think first of your citizens. They need not die
endlessly if you would but meet those demands presented to you. You may
live for peace, I do not particularly care. I live for war, and me and
mine can fight until the end of days. Can you say the same for your
mewling forces, Ryvern? I think that you cannot. Take heed, Ryvern. You
have not seen but the tip of the proverbial iceberg in this conflict. I
look forward to giving you a better view.
