You missed one very valid point, which throws your entire
critique of Istavan's post out. Xerimor is threatening a war
on behalf of Felwryn. He is threatening not merely Oakstone,
but all who are related to the Forests. I got a similar
message from Xerimor. Neither Istavan nor myself are Heirophants
of Oakstone, so neither of us possess the power to unenemy Felwryn,
even if we would consider doing it..so his threat against ALL
the folks related to the Forests is the point here.

Istavan is enemied from Ashtan. I am enemied from Ashtan. The bulk
of the Order of Evil is from Ashtan, and influential
in the city..therefore, just as I am related to the Forests,
so is Ashtan related to the Order of Evil..therefore, if the Order
of Evil is going to wage war upon us and our homes, expect us to do
likewise....or just pony up and pay Felwryn's fine for him,
instead of using it as an excuse for more mayhem.

The Sentinels stand ready to defend the Forests still,
should you start a war over this expect to pay much more than
you did the last time, Xerimor.
