There seems to be a lot of confusion on this subject, so I will clear
it up once and for all. Your preconceptions of what things with similar
names should be like are not applicable here. The Church is NOT the
equivalent of the Holy Roman Empire, and has, in fact done much
good for the land. Where would you all be without the highway system,
for instance. Likewise, no monk that I've ever met in "real life" has
telepathic powers. Perhaps I should remove these powers from Morpheus,
since he seems so insistent on "realism".

To the Kharon monks: While I'm certainly not against a bit of killing
completely without reason (and make no mistake, that is what I
classify most of your persecution of the Church members as), I'm growing
a little bit tired of this constant harrassment of them. Your reasons
for doing so are very transparent and are not fooling anyone. You just want to someone weaker than you to kill, and they are available.
Fair enough. Feel free to do so now and then, in fact. Not everyone
has to be just and fair. However, constant persecution of them is
not acceptable. From what I have witnessed, the Church members
are, with certain exceptions, very tolerant and peaceful folks who
certainly do not attack you unprovoked.
