Ashtan,
Lately there have been quite a few questions as to why my guild
(sentinels) does not sell herbs, elixirs and salves to members of
Ashtan. Questions have come from guildmasters, general citizens, and
even newbies given the authority to speak for entire clans.

This post is not to explain all the reasons why we refuse to sell to
Ashtanese. I will not talk of the historical reasons, of failed
treaties, nor of a war that spanned a decade and a half. I will simply
speak of the reason that involves my sphere or responsibility within my
guild.

Guild enemies.

Most of my guild's enemies hail from Ashtan. This has always been the
case. Ashtan supports my guild's enemies by protecting them when they
are within the borders of Ashtan. We do not help those that help our
guild enemies.

Lastly, if you are Ashtanese and wondering what you can do to lift the
ban - there are two things: leave Ashtan, or convince your city to
expell my guild's enemies from the city.
