Good Shaja,
After taking several well thought over moments to read, reread,
consider, reconsider, and ponder your post, I have drawn several
conclusions. For your own benefit, and for the benefit of those others
who may take the time to indulge in this rather brief excursion into my
philosophies, I have decided to take up my quill once more and point out
several flaws within your writing. Now, in a brutally honest attempt to
keep this simple and easy to read even for the most mewling among us, I
will make each point in direct correspondance to the order in which they
dawned upon me in reading your post.
It seems first that individuals who take up pen in an attempt to prove a
point should first learn to present yourself in some sort of an
intelligent light. Frankly, your complete lack of grammatical prowess
disgusts me to no ends. It is important when expressing yourself in
writing to maintain a position of intellectual fortitude, such that your
opinion can be taken in a considerate manner and not scoffed at. In
doing so, not only will you gain more support for the ideals you
profess, but you will also gain the respect of those who do not agree
with your writing. Respect is an important thing in writing, for it will
allow you to become quite influential should you ever desire to write
again.
On the issue of the Divine supposedly being...completely deaf, to your
issues of what you wish to refer to as "PK," or more properly, death by
sentient opponent, I can only ask you a simple question. Why should they
care? Now, perhaps your Lady Tarah in her semi-infinite compassion would
be quick to lend you Her hand in the matter, but as you, She is quite
asleep at the moment. As for other members of the Garden, well, why
would They be willing to waste Their time on such a disrespectful and
petty little girl? And who, may I ask, are you, to challenge the Divine
in Their all but omnipotent intellect? Honestly, we mortals, or at least
most of us, have far too many problems for the Garden to consider each
and every individual one as if it were a matter of the life or death of
the mortal Heads of their respective Orders.
For a brief moment we shall return to the topic of respect. You are
right in the notion that respect is something that many people wish to
have. However, respect is not gained through inane vocal reverberations,
nay, rather it is gained in matters of the sword and of the quill.
Metaphorically speaking, this 'game' called life is rather like chess,
don't you think? Respect is not gained instantly, nay...one begins life
as a simple pawn, struggling and avoiding the wrath of opposition, be it
mortal slaying or oppressive ideals, and should they stand firm and
strong in whatever path they choose, or if they should happen to change
paths partway and continue onward even with such a major setback, then
they will slowly advance through the ranks, coming closer and closer to
the other side of the 'board', becoming more and more of a threat, when
one day, gloriously, they are Queened. Thus is the pinnacle of
achievement. Headlong pursuit of such a goal is a stong ideal for all to
follow.
You ask...dear Shaja...what kind of world this is. Allow me to tell you.
This is a world of rampant chaos, of constant struggle, of war, of
peace, of good, evil, everything surpassing and in between. This is a
world where all individuals can have an impact should they work hard
enough to do so. This is a world where individuals reign through fear,
through mercy, through respect, and through hatred. It is not enough to
simply say, "All should follow my ideals." Nay, quite the opposite.
There are many schools of thought in our realm, and to simply reject
others as wrong or without their strong points is weak and pathetic. You
must accept that some individuals gain their might through the quill,
others through the sword, others with both. As for a "lack of rules,"
well, do you have a guild? Do you have a city? Do you belong to any
organization whatsoever? If you do, these are the people you should turn
to to exact retribution, not the Divine. Should said individuals refuse
you assistance, either you are in the wrong, or you should seek out new
allies.
You speak specifically concerning Orders that speak only of "war." Being
the mortal head of the Order of Aegis, God of War, I can tell you that
your understanding of War is quite limited. War is not simply killing,
nay, that is physical combat, but not war. War reaches all fronts of
battle, the fields and plains and oceans of Sapience, the minds of
Overseers and Sultans and Seneschals, the quills of Guildmasters,
Secretaries, and the lone soldier. War is a brutal thing, dear. Perhaps,
if you are familiar with the etherical flux theories, more specifically
those dealing with large interdimensional portals known as "black
holes," you could better understand War by comparing it to a black hole.
When a body remains far seperated and away from the black hole, that
body is safe from harm. However, the closer one gets to the hole, the
harder it is to get back away from it, and the faster one dives towards
the center. The same is true for war. If one remains without
organizations, or belongs only to organizations who hold no ideals, he
or she remains safe from harm. The moment one pledges oneself to an
organization, however, they have taken one step closer to that great
black hole we call War.
Again, I must question your intelligence and forethought in your
insulting attitude towards the Divine. Calling these beings of senses
beyond our comprehension "blind" and "deaf" is an act commitable only by
the truly ignorant. The Divine give you Their Grace. You choose whether
you remain in this Grace or not, but the Divine can just as easily force
you out of it. By taking this wonder for granted you only further prove
how ignorant you are of the splendor of the Divine and Their ways. Being
spiteful towards the Divine will never result in progress, but rather
will hinder your own person moreso than you could ever imagine.
Finally, you speak concerning the creation of novices in other guilds.
Well, while I respect your right to breed as often as you like with as
many partners as you like in however many ways as you may like, unless
you are hoping for this "war" to last at least another 19 years or so, I
frankly doubt that any of your "creations" as you call them will ever
hope to become novices such that you can see the war through their eyes.
And yes, I ask myself every day "Why am I fighting? Who am I fighting
for? Who am I fighting against?" And I ask myself these things not
because I doubt War, but because War is all around us, eternally. War
truly is a black hole, my dear. Escape from it is momentary at best, but
in the end, we are all soldiers, we are all fighters, we are all
victims...for our own ideals.
