Greetings peoples of Sapience,
This concerns the ritual that was recently enacted to attempt to
retrieve the soul of Sunrise,who was cruelly ripped from the realm
repeatedly and sought refuge in the realm of Thoth.

Antarax Moonflair, Warmage says, "I think it is time to commence
proceedings;Mephisto."
Mephisto says, "Indeed it is."
Mephisto walks into the shadows and stoops to pick up a lifeless corpse.
He strides to the centre of the floor and unceremoniously drops the
corpse.
Lying on the stone floor, is the corpse of Sunrise, perfectly preserved.
Sleeping to all outward appearences, apart from the distinct lack of
movement
from this once proud warrior.
Mephisto carefully and precicely marks out a pentagram, by sprinkling a
bone
white powder, first marking out a 5 pointed star, then proceding to
encircle
it, taking great care not to disturb the dust already laid down.
Upon completing the pentagram, braziers are placed at the 5 points, and
lit
with a blood-red wax candle.
The strange aroma of some concoction fills your nostrils, you are unable
to
decide if it is a pleasant smell or not, although your vision does seem
to swim
momentarily.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage says to you, "I think we have completed the
preperations, shall we begin?"
Mephisto says, "Aye,let us commence."
Antarax strikes a small hammer upon a tiny silver bell, and a single
crystal
clear note rings out, shattering the otherwise silent mansion.
Mephisto holds his arms aloft and begins to spin slowly.
Sitting cross legged, and frowning in concentration, Antarax begins to
slowly
chant.
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
The room seems to darken in an instant, and yet the centre of the room
remains
lit by the glowing braziers, giving the corpse a ghostly appearance.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
A swirling portal of chaos opens, spits out a soulmaster, then vanishes.
The corners of the room seem to fade to darkness, giving the feeling you
are
standing in a vast hall, the only source of light, the centerpiece - an
insane
work of necromancy.
The hairs on the back of your neck start to tingle, then stand on end,
some silent warning screaming at you that all is not right.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto grasps hold of the soulmaster viciously.
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto says, "Soulmaster do my bidding."
The soulmaster shrinks in terror from Mephisto.
Mephisto yells, "Soulmaster do my bidding."
A subtle change of colouring, an almost physical presence starts to form
above
the corpse of Sunrise.
Mephisto gazes into the eyes of the soulmaster.
A cold breeze starts to blow within this room, the walls you know are
but a few
feet away, but in the inky blackness, seem to have dissapeared, leaving
only a
great void of nothingness surrounding you.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
Mephisto says, "Go forth into the void and seek out the soul of
Sunrise."
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto turns his soulmaster to face the lifeless corpse.
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
Dark whisperings call to you from the darkness, then abruptly leave with
the
soulmaster.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto says, "Now go."
The soulmaster hurls itself into the void.
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."

Mephisto circles the pentagram slowly.
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
A subtle change of colouring, an almost physical presence starts to form
above
the corpse of Sunrise.
A cold breeze starts to blow within this room, the walls you know are
but a few
feet away, but in the inky blackness, seem to have dissapeared, leaving
only a
great void of nothingness surrounding you.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
You start suddenly, as you see the incorporeal form of the Soulmaster,
surrounded by a halo of light, but then as fast as it appears, it fades
away.
Mephisto strains to see into the void.
A swirling portal of chaos opens, spits out a soulmaster, then vanishes.
Beads of sweat break out on Mephisto's forehead, as his brows close in
deeper
concentration.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto opens his eyes wide with horror.
Mephisto says, "The wrong soul."
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage says to you, "Destroy it, send it back."
Mephisto attempts to exorcize the soul.
Panic is now evident in Antarax's eyes,
Mephisto grits his teeth and sweat appears on his brow.
Mephisto says, "Back vile soul."
Composing himself Antarax again begins the chant to assist Mephisto.
The soulmaster hurls itself into the void.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
Mephisto gasps weakly.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
The shadowy form of the Soulmaster again begins to intensify, becoming
increasingly solid.
Mephisto carefully scrutinizes the soul.
The soulmaster, now completely corporeal, hovers, inches above the
corpse of
Sunrise, a Halo of light sinking slowly, to encompass the lifeless body
upon
the floor.
Mephisto says, "This is it."
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
Sunrise eyes flick open, and his body convulses. He lets out a terrible
scream,
splitting the otherwise silent night, the terror within his eyes is
terrible to
behold.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto opens his arms wide and makes a motion of tying with his hands.
Mephisto says, "I bind this soul."
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Sunrise cries out as his body falls to the floor in a heap. You catch a
glimpse
of his red and blistered eyes as he clutches his head in pain.
Antarax Moonflair, Warmage chants, "Efil ot kab."
Mephisto chants "ksuh siht ot kab efil."
An Icy wind blows across the land, and you shudder as you feel its icy
tendrils
draw across you. In an instant it is gone, and warmth once again seeps
back
into your body.
Throwing back his head, Sunrise screams agonizingly.
The body of Sunrise Shudders Violently, his arms flailing wildly,
sending one
brazier skittering across the floor. His eyes roll back, and his mouth
dribbles
with saliva. Clearly a madness is upon him.
Mephisto slumps down slowly.
Antarax collapses from the strain, unable to maintain counciousness any
longer.
Sunrise says, "I....."
Sunrise says, "Where am.....I."
Mephisto weakly collapses.
Sunrise looks across the room.
You see Antarax Moonflair, Warmage shout, "Hail Thoth, Master of Death!"
Mephisto says, "Someone attend him,I...I cannot."
Sunrise looks up at you all.
Mephisto falls into an exhausted sleep.
Antarax closes his eyes, curls up into a ball and falls asleep.
Revelation flashes Sunrise a joyous smile.
High Druidess Krissandra Rhazine, Mistress of Solitude walks over to
Sunrise
slowly, reaching down for his hand she helps him to his feet.
Sunrise nods his head at Krissandra.
Antarax opens his eyes and yawns mightily.
Krissandra flashes Sunrise a joyous smile.
Sir Cooper Ravenwind sees Sunrise start to sway and quickly rushes over
to
catch him before he topples over.
Deven flashes Sunrise a joyous smile.
Mephisto carefully wipes the dust pentagram off the floor.
Sunrise presses his palms together and bows low before you.
You tell Sunrise, "You are well?"
A powerful male voice shouts, "Thank you all........who helped me
........."
Opportunistic Prince Nightcrawler, the Speaker for the Dead's voice
powerfully
resounds, "Welcome back Sunrise."
Sunrise tells you, "Weak......I have seen many .......many things."

My apologies for the length of this scroll,it was a lengthy and tiring
ritual.
