Greetings. Some of you may not have heard of me, but my name is Goshawk.
I am an Ashuran monk who took Sartan's side in the War. Naturally, I did
not exterminate, or assist those who did. But, I killed Sentinels and
Druids.

For this, I offer not only my apology, but my offer of any help or
recompense that I can render to you in the days ahead. I know that I
will not be trusted for a time, but I hope that I may prove my right
intentions to you over time.
Next, I must admit something. During the war, I told Covenant that I was
"Declaring a truce" and that I would not kill a druid or a Sentinel for
2 Achaean years. I lied. I decided within a couple of Achaean months to
attack again, and I realize that my conduct was not worthy of EITHER
side fighting in the war. I apologize to those I killed, especially... I
am at your mercy now, and should you desire to kill me, simply tell
Covenant. I am hereby authorizing him to state a fine, penance,
whatever... and I will do it to get un-enemied from the Forest folk.
I have also killed Shallamese. I now declare that for a long time (at
least 10 Achaean years) I will not attack another player, unless I am
myself attacked, or I am at a landmark. I declare that if I break this,
and jump someone, I am to be hunted down and slain without mercy.

Now, I apologize to those I have hurt, to those I have killed, and to
those I have lied to. I apologize to the families that I have attacked
(*point Angelina*) and I announce that whatever it takes, from here on
in life, I sue for peace.

Amazing how refreshing it is to get that off my chest, and to know that
I will be able to speak with the people of the forest now without anger
or hate!
