who won

You set out to destroy the forest. You failed, the forest is still here.
You set out to gain experience. When we look at the rankings, most of
you have lost.
You wanted to crush the morale of us treehuggers. You didnt.
You wanted to be evil. You were. But by doing so, you made the neutral
treehuggers turn to "good".
We spent more gold than you did, rejuvenating. But we were always pretty
rich anyway, and if you ever pay your fines, that loss will be become
our gain. And if you dont pay them - you'll just be enemied for all
eternity. Either way we win on that score.

So gloat if you will, but the only claim to victory you have is a claim
(that cannot be proven) that you gained more exp overall than us.
You may try to talk about the sacrifices as being proof of us
treehuggers bowing before your Lord. But consider the terms of the
treaty - active fighting stops, exterminations stop, you remain enemied
until you pay your fines. Those are -not- terms you would have dictated
were you truly the victors.

Caled

Penned by my hand on the 11th of Aeguary, in the year 282 AF.
