Ah, the Joys!

Ah! It is a joy to see someone engage in intelligent deliberation even
if it is from a troll with their feable minds; one of my greatest joys.
Nonetheless, it shall become apparent that the logic of my tsol'aa mind
correct and that of your small troll brain is not, and even includes
misquotes of my writing.

As for the Devout/Church confusion, I was not aware that there was a
group with that name. I have been away many years and this group, the
Devout, was not around in my day. But nonetheless, from what I
understand, they claim to follow the Codex despite the actions I have
observed recently. Nonetheless, my writings were about the code laid
forth in the Codex. So unless the Devout reject the Codex, then the post
still applies.

I did indeed selectively quote the Codex because it would be cumbersome
to write out parts document of the document that do not apply to the
issue. Shall I quote the part about stealing when it has no bearing upon
anything?

But yes, the Codex does say "To kill in order to destroy evil when it
rises against the Church or otherwise opposes the forces of good in the
land is one thing and indeed can be a righteous act", and I did leave
that out for the above reason. It says "can", not "is". Thus if you
abide by this document you can not conclude that to kill in order to
destroy evil is always a righteous act, but rather can merely only go so
far as to conclude that saying it never is a righteous act would be a
false premise. Thus this piece of the Codex says nothing about the issue
at hand, and you are mistaken to use it, and you are mistaken to state
using this line that Irontounge's unwarned killing is therefore just and
right.

You state that it is not valid to compare war with the second truth of
Sartan when in fact I agree. Yes, war without bloodshed is not war, and
that is not necessarily a premise of cruelty. I also never made such a
claim against that. I was pointing out that Irontounge's acts were an
example of cruelty, war or no war. The fact that he uses murder as his
first course of action instead of the last as Deucalion calls for and
does it against his own family is the example of cruelty. This is
independent of war. Please do not misrepresent what I state.

Your next claim is in regards to my statement on these actions against
Sun and the legion in question as being detrimental to the Church's (or
Devout's) goals, except I never said anything about the legion in my
post so I have no idea what you are talking about. I said that ignoring
Deucalion's mandate upon you to use violence as the last option in this
one specific case could only do the opposite of what Deucalion requested
of you. They declared war on you. So what? I never said anything
explicitly about their war, so again I have no clue what you are talking
about.

Yes, it is true the Codex says "End all Evil", not convince them all
they are wrong and come home to the Church. It clearly demands you use
the best method for each case and to not act in blood lust, and it says
that this "slay first ask questions later" method is to be used for
grave transgressions when all else fails. So in that light the actions
cited have again failed the Codex.

As for the paragraph that confuses you, I did not compare to anyone; I
think you were choking down a bit of aconite when you thought that one
up. I asked how her transgression could compare to those transgressions
deemed by Deucalion as the worst of the worst. The example Deucalion
gives that I cite is killing Church members. Please address that issue
instead of being confused as you trolls so often tend to be.

I suggest, dear Molotov, that you examine the facts and do some real
study before posting misquotings of others. Do some research, learn what
the Codex actually says (though I highly recomend the Principia
Discordia over the Codex; a much more interesting and enlightening read
I must say...). Take two goldenseal and call me in the morning, maybe
even get yourself a Sash of Caymus to compensate for your troll mental
"skills".

Having transcendant skills does not give one a transcendant mind, but
maybe being of the highly intelligent tsol'aa instead of the troll you
are (well known as being the stupidest race in all sapience) does.
