Corrections and Changes to your Hypothesis

There are several flaws in your logic dear Saruman with regards to the
actions of Irontounge and members of the Devout. Firstly let me say
this. The Devout is not the Church, do not get them mixed up for they
are nay the same. They aspire to the same end, through different means.
you have quoted many articles of faith from the Holy Codex as set down
by Deucalion, God of Righteousness and Aurora, Goddess of Light with
little understanding of the words within. Your post was much eloquent
and beguiled my mind but was incorrect.
You Quoted Law 1) Do not kill unjustly in part, but chose selectivly
which part to mention and never completly used the whole text. A common
'mistake' of those engaged in slanderous propoganda. This law does
indeed state, "As you fight to banish evil in the lands, there may come
a time when you will have to use force against those who will, sadly,
not respond to any other actions. There may even come the time that you
must lift your weapon with intent to kill for nothing less shall stay
your foe from his or her evil path." You called Irontounge unjust in his
killings however did you bother to read the rest of the law. Especially
the parts that say,"To kill in order to destroy evil when it rises
against the church or otherwise opposes the forces of good in the land
is one thing and indeed can be a righteous act. To kill because you dont
like the individual and had an opportunity, or because they bore a title
you didn't care for or were affiliated with a group you opposed ...."
Now what this says is that to k

You have also compared the righteous retribution of Irontounge at war
with the second truth of Evil. Death is a apart of war, there is no
creulty in it, it is a means to an end. Torturing a messanger of evil
can be considered Evil, however this is not done. A war cannot be fought
without bloodshed, it is a fact, not a premise for creulty.

Truth four of evil does state intolerance, however the Commandment 5 of
the Holy Codex states - Seek to end all evil, "It is the ultimate goal
of the Church of Achaea to put an end to evil of all kinds in the lands.
When those whom openly serve evil complain that the Church is
"oppressive" you may take that as an indication that you are doing your
job well for evil *should* be oppressed by the Church." There is no room
under our laws for tolerance of evil, we do not follow Sartans Codex we
follow our own and compassion is taught but Evil is never tolerated.
This argument of yours is moot.

You also compare Sun to a member of the church. This clearly states that
force is an option to be used in extreme cases of transgression against
the Church. It sounds as if Sun's only transgression is being lead (or
mislead if you're from the Churchy perspective) by a fiancee. Explain
how this is on the order of "killing a fellow member of the Church" as
Deucalion orders you?". Your whole paragraph here confuses me entirely.
I have no idea where you got that idea from, I will leave it upto
further ineptitude.

You also state that Irontounges attacks on Sun and the Legion are
detrimental to the desired effect. They declared war on us, not that
they wouldnt be killed anyway, and when they are all dead and in Thoths
Hall the Codex's work will be done, where is the detrimental side. The
Codex says End all Evil. Not convince them all they are wrong and come
home to the Church although this is an option but any realistic person
knows this will never happen. So far many Legionaires have left their
evil organisation due to the Devouts work and Irontounges stupendous
effort in the name of Light.

I suggest dear Saruman that you examine the facts and do some real study
before posting about things you dont know. Do some research, learn the
difference between the devout and the church. Take two asprin and call
me in the morning.
