When you speak of the writings of Darwin, recall that he studied the
strengthening of species over generations, and did not disregard the
strength of the community, as I think you may have done in your post.
Also take note that one of the greatest strengths that can be found in
Nature is diversity, since what is deemed weak in one situation can be
strong in another. Finally, the survival of the fittest that Lord Sartan
preaches is one that functions with the goals of power and domination in
mind, goals that are irrelevant in the patterns that Nature weaves.

Please do not take this as a criticism of your post, simply my own
thoughts on a topic I quite enjoy.
