Greetings Oakstone,

This post is to inform you of the official standing of the Elysian order
in regards to current conflicts, the forest, and the "Pact" between
Forest and Darkness.

The Elysian Order stands for Light and Righteousness, and opposes
Darkness and Evil.

The recent Pact between the Forest and Darkness has led to the Forest
itself becoming Dark, and this puts the Order devoted to Light and
Righteousness in a difficult position.

We cannot aid a Forest contaminated with Darkness; henceforth we
withdraw all support of the the Forest against Evil.

The Darkness was willingly accepted into the Forest by the Druidic
Guildmaster and Divinely appointed Heirophant (Orina). In the eyes of
the Elysian Order this was done with the blessing of the Lady Gaia as,
to our knowledge, no objection was, nor has been, made by the
Earthmother.

Until now the Forests and the Light have been closely linked, but this
acceptance of the Darkness by the Forest is a betrayal of that trust.
The Elysian Order will not participate in any Ritual to expell the
Darkness from the Forest.

Perhaps some day in the future, Light and the Forest shall dance
together once more, but for now the forest has chosen new allies.
